Molly is the founder and director of Molly's Music, one of the largest music schools in Orange County, CA, and what was to become the first organization in CultureHum Foundation.
She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Columbia University with a BA in English and spent a year studying at Oxford University with Ms. Jeri Johnson, editor of the Oxford University Press editions of the major James Joyce works.
In 2006, Molly interned for Inkwell Management, a prominent literary agency in Manhattan, just before returning to her native California and launching her music teaching business.
In 2014, Molly and her husband Travis founded CultureHum Foundation to help bridge the gaps in American civic culture, from offering a music education to those who can't afford it (The Inside Voice) to providing low-cost educational resources and mentorship (The American Age's Open Education Project).
Molly's had the joy of performing all over the world, from Broadway songs in Manhattan piano bars, to choral music at the Vatican, to a cappella busking on the streets of London, Bath, and Oxford. When she was younger, she most enjoyed giant Victorian novels, uniquely staged Shakespeare productions, and symphonies presented at Avery Fisher Hall. Now that she's a parent, she most enjoys naps.
